Preparation of Abstracts

Contributed papers covering original work in the topics of FOM2015 (see home page) can be accepted for presentation, either as oral or poster. An abstract, of up to one page, must be in camera-ready form for direct reproduction. The text has to be typed in 12-point, Times, single spaced only. The title of the talk and authors' names, affiliations, complete return addresses or e-mail address must appear on the top of the pages typed in 12-point bold and centered. Cite references at the end of the abstract. For details, please refer to the Authors manual. The abstract must be formatted for printout on A4-size (210x297mm, 8.27x11.69in) with 25mm (or 1 inch) margins on all sides. Micrographs and other illustrations (monochrome only) are welcomed but must fit within the page.

Submission of Abstracts

Abstract submission is now closed, the deadline for the submission of abstracts was January 20, 2015. Resubmissions (corrections) of previously submitted abstracts can still be submitted, this together with abstracts for special or invited contributions.

For the FOM2015 conference both oral and poster presentations are scheduled. An abstract for FOM2015 can be submitted electronically in PDF (portable document file format).

Oral presentations

Basically presentations in a plenary session are scheduled for 40 minutes (including discussion time). For oral presentations in parallel sessions (with occasional exceptions) 20 minutes including discussion time is scheduled. Please check the detailed program when available on this website by February 10, 2015.

Poster presentations

Size poster board: 1 meter wide x 1,50 meter high
