Preparation of Abstracts

Contributed papers covering original work in the topics of FOM2014 (see home page) can be accepted for presentation, either as oral or poster. An abstract, of up toone page, must be in camera-ready form for direct reproduction. The texthas to be typed in 12-point, Times, single spaced only. The title of the talkand authors' names, affiliations, complete return addresses or e-mailaddress must appear on the top of the pages typed in 12-point bold andcentered. Cite references at the end of the abstract. For details, please referto the Authors manual. The abstract mustbe formatted for printout onA4-size (210x297mm, 8.27x11.69in) with 25mm (or 1 inch) margins on all sides. Micrographsand other illustrations (monochrome only) are welcomed but must fit within the page.

Submission of Abstracts

For the FOM2014 conference both oral end poster presentations are scheduled.

The deadline for the submission of abstracts was January 15, 2014.
Only re-submissions for changes in already submitted abstracts can be accepted.

An abstract for FOM2014 can be submitted electronically in PDF (portable documentfile format) via the

abstract submit/upload form

Oral presentations

Basically presentations in a plenary session are scheduled for 40 minutes (including discussion time). For oral presentations in parallel sessions (with occasional exceptions) 20 minutes including discussion time is scheduled. Please check the detailed program when available on this website by February 11, 2014.

Poster presentations

Size poster board: 1 meter wide x 1,50 meter high
